Chief Minister Solarization Program For Agriculture Tubewells
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif and the Punjab Agriculture Department have launched the Chief Minister Solarization Program. In which a subsidy will be provided to convert agricultural tube wells to solar panels. The government is launching this program to run diesel and petrol-powered tube wells on solar panels.
The eligibility criteria is that the farmer’s owned agricultural land should be at least one acre. Electricity and diesel-powered tube wells installed before October 30, 2024, will be converted to solar. Solar power up to 10KW, 15KW, and 20 KW will be provided. A subsidy of Rs. 500,000 will be given on 10 kW solar panels, a subsidy of Rs. 750,000 will be given on 15 kW solar panels, and a subsidy of Rs. 1 million will be given on 20 kW solar panels,
The last date for registration in Solarization Program is 31st December 24. Except for the subsidy, all the remaining amount will have to be paid by the farmers. For registration, you can visit the official website cmstp.punjab.gov.pk. Apart from this, if you are not able to register online, you can also go to the Agriculture Office and get your registration done.

Solarization Program Online Registration
The registration process is very easy, you can register online from home.
- For this, first, you have to go to the official website of the government.
- There a portal will be shown in front of you.
- In this portal, first you have to enter your computer ID card number, and mobile number, then you have to select the type of tube well installed, whether it is electric or diesel powered.
- After that, you have to write the diesel capacity of the installed electric motor, which is KW/HP.
- You have to select the requirement of the solar system, whether you want 10 kW, 15 kW, or 20 kW.
- After that, you have to read the terms and conditions and press the I-Agree button.
- After that, you have to enter the captcha and press the Apply for Solar Tube Well button. Your application process will be completed.
If you are unable to register online, then you do not need to worry at all. You have to go to your nearest Deputy Director of Agriculture office, there the representative will give you a form, you have to fill that form and your application process will be complete.
